Version 5 is a brand new version of Tri-BACKUP:

- Universal Binary (native for both PPC and Intel machines).
- For Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard).

- Released with both Tri-BACKUP and Tri-BACKUP Pro versions.

- New Immediate and Programmed types of actions.
- Programmed Actions executed in background.
- Backup to CDs/DVDs or disk images.
- Backup to an FTP server.
- Copy from an FTP server.

Tri-BACKUP Pro only:

- FTP Backup and Copy.
- Recheck copied files.
- Send alarms by email (programmed actions).
- Remote control (programmed actions).
- Backup without user (when no session opened).
